Oh no! We are sorry you can not enjoy the game as intended!
If a game won't start, is stuck loading, doesn't appear in the list, is lagging, or crashes mid-session, the cause is almost always the same: your location, internet connection, or console device. The steps below cover all of these symptoms, so try them in order.
Quick Fixes
- Reload the session: Refresh the game and try again.
- Force close and reconnect: Fully close the AirConsole App on your phone and the console app/website, then reconnect.
- Reinstall the AirConsole App on your phone if reconnecting doesn't help.
Check your WiFi: Make sure all players are connected to the same network as the console device and that the connection is stable. Test your speed at speedtest.net.
Platform-specific fixes:
- PC: Use Google Chrome as your browser.
- TV: Download the AirConsole TV App from the Google Play Store or Amazon App Store.
- Car: Check your location. Areas with poor mobile signal, such as underground parking garages, can prevent games from loading.
Close background apps and browser tabs, since other apps and tabs running at the same time can slow down loading and cause lag.
Loading generally shouldn't take longer than 20 minutes, though larger games may take a bit more time.
If the AirConsole App Itself Crashes
If it's the AirConsole App itself, not a specific game, that's crashing, try these steps instead:
- Make sure you have the latest version of the AirConsole App installed.
- Restart the app.
- PC: Use Google Chrome.
- TV: Reinstall the AirConsole TV App.
- Car: Restart the app.
Still Not Working?
If none of these steps help, use our report form to tell us which game crashed (or wouldn't load) and how we can reproduce the issue. This also notifies the game's developer so they can investigate.
